Back in the Blogging World!

Okay, so I cannot believe that this is my first blog since our sweet Brynn was born! I know, I'm terrible. I have been inspired to blog again, so here we go. In an attempt to get back in the grove and not be overwhelmed with the process, I will not post every pic for the past 4 months! :) Here is one of Brynn's first pictures and below a recent one! I have so many more that I love, I would not know where to begin!

Brynn arrived on Aug 27th 2010. 6lbs 14oz and 20in long! We spent our 4th anniversary in the hopsital the night before and I was induced on the 27th. What a great anniversary present! Thanks to a great L&D nurse, my labor went smoothly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I can not belive it has already been 4 months! It has certainly flown by! Brynn is absoulutely the BEST baby ever!

Some of Mom and Dad's favorite things about Brynn:

  She is a great sleeper (she goes to bed at 8pm and wakes at 6:30am)

  She is always smiling

I decided to change jobs so that I could work part time and spend more time with Brynn. This was a tough decision for me as I loved my previous job. I am now working with the geriatric population, mon-fri from 8:30a.m. to 12:30. This has been a good balance for both of us. Brynn is going to daycare while I am at work. We like it there.

Our one little battle we have had is Brynn is really struggling with the bottle. This baby has more bottles than any breast fed baby! :) We have tried EVERYTHING! I think she is going to be a strong willed child! She just likes to hold out for mommy! We are slowly making some progress this week!

Today Brynn almost rolled over from her back to her tummy!

Triathlons, Baseball and Baby Showers!

This is a long post with lots to catch up on! I had intended to post as these things were happening but our internet has been acting up for the last month. The summer is flying by. I guess that's what happens when you are preparing for a little one!

I always like to brag about how I love my job and have the greatest co-workers! They proved the point again this weekend and threw BJ and I a co-ed baby shower! It was lots of fun! Everything they did was so thoughtful! We are definately blessed! Thanks Girls!

The girls from church threw Brynn a wonderful baby shower! We are so blessed with a great church home. I love these girls! They made everything so nice, and Brynn was definately "showered" with gifts! Thanks to everyone who came and made this day so special!

We took a quick trip to Dallas to pick up BJ's bike in the bike shop. We didn't really get to visit with friends because it was so short. But it was a nice get-a-way. While we were there, we decided to catch a Rangers Game! We had Great seats and the weather coulndn't have been nicer.

BJ competed in his first 1/2 ironman triathlon this June! 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride and 13.1 mile run! I am so proud of him. He did awesome! I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked. It was hard to cheer and take pics at the same time.

Baby Shower in Amarillo

This weekend my sweet friends in Amarillo threw Brynn a baby shower! It was so great to see family and friends I haven't seen in a long time! These are some of my best and longest friends! I am so appreciative!

24 week Baby Bump...or Ball!

Good report

We had another 3-D sonogram this morning to check on Brynn and make sure everything is going well! We got a good report. She is healthy and continues to be active, weighing in at 1lb, 5oz. She was being a little stubborn and wouldn't let us see her face, but we were happy to see a healthy baby!
