It has definitely been way too long since I have blogged. I intend on being better in 2010!
I will begin by saying that BJ and I have had many blessings to be thankful for especially this past few months.
- Our most exciting news came right before Christmas....We are expecting! We were elated! This Thursday, we had our first Dr.'s appointment. We caught a good glimpse of little Baby Hart and heard it's strong heartbeat. It is crazy to imagine this little "being" growing inside of me! It was an exciting moment! We were also excited that we could now share this news with all our friends and family! I am 10wks along. My due date is August 27th, just a day after our 4th anniversary! What a great anniversary present. I'll start posting baby bump pics when my baby bump begins to grow!
- I finished my clinicals on December 13th and soon after accepted a new job. I studied for almost a full month before taking the national board exam that I needed to pass to become licenced as an Occupational Therapist. I took the test Sat. Jan 23rd with NO IDEA how I had done. I started working on a temporary license last Monday at The Transitional Learning Center here in Lubbock. This is a rehab facility for individuals (adults) with an acquired brain injury. I have loved this setting and facility since I did an internship there about a year ago. This is where I wanted to work and God blessed me with that opportunity. So, the Test..... today I received report that I PASSED!! What a relief!
- On December 29th, my sister, Nisha married Evan Arnold! We are so excited to have Evan as part of the family. My sister looked absolutely beautiful and it is so obvious that they are a perfect match! I am so happy for them! My mom, of course did an amazing job with the wedding plans. Everything turned out Great.
- While my family was here for Nisha's wedding, we celebrated my Granma's 90th birthday! She flew down from Wisconsin and was quite the trooper.
This is such an exciting time in our lives right now! We are overwhelmed with Amazing family and friends.....Here's to a Great 2010!
