Wedding and Family

My cousin Dayme got married this weekend here in Lubbock. We were able to see lots of family we hadn't seen in a while. The wedding was beautiful!!! The reception was covered in crystals and chandeliers along with tall white floral arrangements.

Happy 4th of July!!

We had some friend's over to cook-out and celebrate the forth.

Russ and Colton were chillin on the hammock! Colton is 6 months old and so Precious. We were so glad to get to spend some time with him ( and his parent's too) this weekend!

Jasmine got the remenants of the homemade ice cream! Emily found a resting place in the tree. She thought it was so funny, she didn't want to get down.
The girl's LOVED Jasmine. They were feeding her food, one piece at a time here. Jasmine was stuffed and pooped by the end of the evening.

Willie Nelson & Pat Green

We went to see Willie Nelson and Pat Green on Wed evening. They both put on a great show. As you can see, our seats weren't the closest. We still had fun.

We met up with our friends Dustin and April for dinner at Chimy's before the concert.

Buffalo Springs Tri Raider

BJ and I did our first Triathlon of the season. It was the Buffalo Springs Tri Raider Sprint. This in one of our favorite races to go to. The long course (which we did not do) is a really difficult course and attracts a lot of the Pro's. Pretty big deal in the triathlon world. We enjoyed it and look forward to some more races this summer and fall.

The last leg of the race is the run. I was almost done!

Last of the Vacations for a While!

This weekend BJ and I went to Eureka Springs, AR for my dear friend Lindsey's wedding. She and Darren got married in the Thorncrown Chapel. Beautiful! The chapel is glass and the scenery is amazing. We had a little bit of a scare before the wedding with some high winds and rain, a huge tree was uprooted and fell over right in front of the chapel. The guest's and wedding party had to take a detour to get in, but the show went on! The drive was long (10 hours each way), but we had an awesome time. We got to see lots of friends we hadn't seen in a long time.

One of my best friends, Beth, is married to Lindsey's brother. Little Wyatt just arrived 6 weeks ago. I have to admit, I was quite the baby hog all weekend. He is precious and sooooo good. The most laid back baby I have ever been around! Love him!

Washington D.C

We were fortunate to go on a trip to Washington D.C. last week. BJ was given an award at work, so they paid for us to come out. They had an awards ceremony, treated us to a nice meal and took us on some outings. We spent an extra day seeing the sights. I had never been to the Mall at night. It was really pretty.

Spring was definately in the air. Little chicks were everywhere.

Tom Cruise happened to be in town as well! Okay.....we really just went to a wax museum! We had our picture taken with the Pope and President Bush also, but I couldn't get the picture to upload!

We had a Great Trip!
